I get numerous requests from makeup artists wanting to assist on jobs. I am very particular about who I take on jobs with me. The individual must have the ability to help and must therefore have some experience or knowledge about basic makeup application. I NEVER allow assistants to do makeup and or hair on a job unless they have been trained by me or someone whose work I respect (for a list of these people email me). Due to past problems I do not allow graduates of makeup schools and workshops to assist me without a basic makeup lesson by me to assure your basic understanding of makeup.

Assistants that do not help with makeup application will be cleaning brushes, organizing my kit, and doing basic simple chores. Sitting or standing and watching me are not acceptable on a real job.
